Mountainbike tour with WannaBike, January 2011
Charles Gravely:
“We had a fun time on our bike tour! It was a great way to see parts of the island that you just can’t see any other way. Hiking is too slow and you can’t get there with a car.Mick did a great job touring us around, pointing out the sites and giving us the history. Mick knew we wanted a workout as well so she kept the pace fast. Highly recommended tour!”

Sharon F.:
“For something different and new, mountain biking was a great way to see the backside of Curacao, as well as explore places that are off the tourist beaten path! Great for cruise ship passengers as well, as they picked us up right at the port! WannaBike was outstanding in service, the price was right, and most importantly the day was fun fun fun!!!”
Mountain bike week on Curacao, November 2010
Marco Grosze-Holz: (from his journal for the website of Dust’n Mud)
Fri. November 5 at 7.30. Helene from Wannabike is waiting for us for our trip through Koraal Tabak. Helene knows the routes and paths are (fortunately) quite dry and hard. The advantage of riding with a guide is that they know the nice places. We arrive at a cave with bats, get to see beautiful scenery, underwater cave to the sea, historic mansion, etc. We have a drink at an “Toko” and lunch at the Ostrich Farm. In the “Chichi” souvenir shop we do some shopping and we drive on the Aloe plantations. This was our last ride. 4 days in total we cycled 186 km altitude and 2498 bridged ….
Rolf van Lin:
“WannaBike takes you on mountain bike tours to many places in Curacao. You go to places you normally never come. Train with a local club, evaluate a Caribbean beer and a Dutch croquette at sunset are some of the relaxing efforts that have surprised me with WannaBike. Sports Stingy? Ask about the many possibilities. “Ayo!
Paul Coolegem :
“For me it was my first mountain bike experience, I am a road biker. The routes were doable for a novice mountain biker, although you still need good basic condition. I had to pause occasionally for a technical descent on slippery stone coral. You get to places you would never discover alone. The guidance was excellent. You do not need to bring your own bike. Everything is incluided and well arranged.”
John van Rens:
“Cycling on Curacao is a very special experience. Apart from the amazing natural beauty (cacti 4 meters high, picas and 10-thousand lizards, tropical birds, iguanas, etc) you cycle through a slightly hilly area. The tropical temperatures make it a major event. Direct contact with local people makes it all very special. Without doubt an event to remember. “

WannaBike Mountain bike tour, Februari 2010
Sebastiaan Opschoor, Meet Curacao:
“In advance, I was quite nervous to go with the tour . I’m not a superhero on the bike and my fitness is not great. They take your level into accountand even someone who hardly ever ride can manage. It is your own to decide how hard you ride, so how hard and difficult it becomes. ….. I would say: Come out off the deckchair, book a tour, get on the bike and go enjoy. Oh, almost forgot: it’s a good price! Especially compared to other tours. “

Wim Fidder:
“WannaBike and Curacao surprised us very much. Great mountain bike tourguides take small groups to beautiful, and sometimes technical challenging trails. This gives a total different impression of the island, and is something every mountain biker should experience. Besides this mountain biking experience, WannaBike recommends on all must see’s en do’s on the island!”
